A-47 Assembly Procedure

Hook up lead out wires to bell crank.
Plug in inboard wing to fuselage and fix with single bolt.
Plug in outboard wing and fix with single bolt.
Connect push rod to elevator and fix stabiliser with single bolt.
Push on rudder and fix with two micro machine screws.
Plug in tail wheel assembly.
Plug in wing mounted landing gear or fix fuselage landing gear with two 4-40 bolts. To remove wing mounted gear do not force or pull. Wiggle it a bit back to front whilst gently pulling and off it comes. Simple but very effective fixing system.
Engine fixing bolts are 4-40

Suggestions

Change flexible lead-outs to piano wire type and ensure make up of un-equal lengths.

Check that the engine bearers are fuel proofed if not soak with thin cyano.

When you have settled on the lead out positions consider sealing the slot with tape or light balsa. (WE DO NOT RECOMMEND THE USE OF ADJUSTABLE LEAD OUT GUIDES!)

Consider using the nylon or aluminium 4-40 fixing bolts for the fuselage landing gear.

Use thread lock with the engine fixing bolts and the bolts securing the metal plates above and below the engine bearers. Check the engine bolts lengths before using. If you use the size that's too long, you will see it appear through the fuselage - not so good.

Make sure that you fit a small section of silicone tubing on the aluminium muffler support.

Check wheel axel  fixings and apply thread lock

Add thread lock to cowl fixing bolt  or try finding it on the grass field.

Engine will need running in on the bench!!
